As CIO, Clark is responsible for establishing, approving, and enforcing statewide information technology architecture, policies and standards for the executive branch. He works closely with the state courts, legislature and university system to coordinate IT in Montana public institutions. As a member of the Governor’s cabinet, he regularly testifies about IT issues before state legislative committees. He also serves as a member of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee.
